ok people i know tax breaks sound really good
but they are very necessary, ron wonts to get rid of jobs for millions of americans and and get rid of all goverment help for schools roads and poor people...in short millions would lose their jobs then have no unemployment check or welfare check to help them...idk about you but i dont see how that helps our economy.

Roads, unemployment, and welfare is all run at a state level not by federal. Paul opposes federal mandates on the welfare state.

Did you see the look on the interviewer's face when Ron Paul actually answers his question! I don't think he's ever heard from a politican before who knew anything about economics and gave a straight answer. Most politicans would have said "we need more federal programs for this and for that, whilst saying they're cut taxes", and "we need more guns and bombs and more wars" and "we need to suck up to lobbyists and big business" etc etc. He nearly beat McCain in Maine, and beat Huck by 14%! RP2008

I feel bad for the US. Ron Paul is the only person qualified to BE president, yet the media is SOOOOO ignorant of how money and the constitution are supose to work. In fact do to a VERY ignarant school system, that is a clear conflict of interest as it is funded by tax money, we have our selves VERY ignarant people. We are in great trouble in this country. Inflation will hit 30-40% per year for the next 12-22 years. Untill boomers dye off, if ever. Its Ok, just keep printing more.

I would say the majority of the American people have no idea what is going on. Americans are dumb! You have 50% of Independents vote for John McCain because he was going to end the war. If that is not dumb I don't know what is. As far as the media goes, they are not dumb. They know exactly what they are doing. The media hates the idea of sound money, personal and ecomomic liberty, and our Constitution. Their main goal is to promote globalism and a one world government.

i thought cell phones and tv's (and other electrical goods) depreciated quickly because of them being (relatively) quickly obsolete or surpassed by superior technology.

Technology prices depend on research and demand. With newer technology, we're able to use less space to do more, and because there's less space, it means less materials, but they also have to pay for the research done to be able to make that product, so they price the electronic equipment relatively high, until the net from R&D starts to get higher from production, when they drop the price out of lower demand as well, due to better conductors superseding previous generation technologies.

Experts agree that policies of Hillary & Obama differ only slightly. Democrats want SOCIALISM: Government CONTROL of your money with inevitably higher taxes on EVERYONE--the proposed spending of $967 BILLION by Obama to date on the campaign trail demands this. Canada & Europe pay nearly 50% in taxes-- hell no! These candidates are all talk with "change"-- Change for the WORSE is reality. OBAMA.... just say NO to the hype.

Ron Paul! He helped inspire me to read about economics. Im reading this book "The Creature from Jekyll Island : A second look at the FEderal Reserve" Very good book. Really helped open my eyes to what's going on in the world.

to iiiiiiiio - yeah, it's called the FREE MARKET! Ya know, the thing called COMPETITION which drives innovation and drives DOWN prices. Unlike medicine, where the pharmaceutical lobbyists have bribed politicians to restrict the market in their favor where they are charging as much as a 30,000% markup on some drugs!! The pharmaceutical industry spends more money on lobbying Congress than ANY OTHER industry (that includes the oil, tobacco and insurace industries!).
