Unfortunately, Aerith's death for me was spoiled ten times over before I picked up the game. I was at a huge disadvantage to FEEL anything when I was like, "Okay when's she gonna die?" the whole time.

I knew she was going to die and i had even seen her death scene before when i played ff7 for the first time. but it actually made her death even more emotional because i wasn't expecting to be sad at all but there were tears in my eyes when it was over...

It always kinda bothered me that Cloud is waist deep in water and then when he drops her she falls like 100 feet down. Anyway, this scene is why everyone remembers and loves FF7. The music makes this 100x sadder too.

The entire death scene is so f''cked up. First there's checkered tiles under her and her legs are sharply cut off and shadowed, then everything around her is blacked out when sephy's falling downwards, then the tile is gone and her legs are like, perfectly situated. There's somethin' amiss.

I remeber how i felt watching this scene few years ago while playing myselph. I cant describe it, i was just crying otside and inside. Never again had that strong emotions in any game or while watching this sequence again, it was never the same. So beautifull yet so sad ... Dont know why felt like this at all, i didnt even have her in team. I bow to this game and it's creators for it was, is and will always be the best in its kind.
