u are right in saying,that u have to fight for peace and democracy.U have to fight extemists. But what the US is doing is fighting against extremists it has helped create.U have to fight religious extremists in all religions(there may be more of them in Islam then within christians but most arn't extremistic)but not the religion itself.If u want to fight the religion itself u say that your own religion is the 100% right one.And with that attitude u are an extremist yourself.PleaseThinkaboutit..

You don't enforce anything but the rule of law in which a democracy (preferably a direct democracy or a democracy of elected representatives with a recall mechanism by the electorate) has so chosen to legislate. VogelGreif You must see the big picture. Democracy and freedom can not prevail in a world of communism and Islam. Or any theocracy, religion and dogma. Islam is not just a religion, it is also a political system. Today they try to enforce Sharia law in the West. I think you must see the effects of Islam on their non-Islamic residents in the Muslim world to have clear picture. Islam can not be separated from the state, in Islam it must become the state, this is clashing with the Western Way.

I understand u arguments but the way of force and war is wrong. It creates powerty and heatred which causes extremists.U can't beat demoracy into people.U need to support the movements who support a more liberal islam and try to work together with the population to build up their country. there might be situation when u must fight, but why invade irak(there was no sharia) and why support saudi arabia? and why not help in africa when there are human rights at stake. Ethics should be universal..
