dude my iphone 3g has scratched up like crazy around the medal that goes around the phone i think the case did it and the ass holes at the apple store said that there is no way that is possible and there is never a time besides when i am syncing or charging that my iphone is not in its case! Do you have any idea how to get the scratches out i have almost tried everything! Please help me!!!!!

dude, mine scratches up as much as yours does, and it's MY CASE as well. The thing is, the chrome just is REALLY scratchable and there's really nothing you can do about it, which sucks.

dude so do you use a case or just leave the phone with out ant portection on the table and stuff....i did that once and i saw scratchs....i know it will scratch up very bad....so i just put a case ti pretend the scratch aint there!!!they should hav made the metal case instead of the plastic one....i think they are trying to safe money...thats y they sell it at 199 and 199 which 300 cheaper than the 1st gen!!

dude every single iphone in the world... has probally atleast 1 scratch in it even if they have invisible shield or not because u just cant have ur stuff perfect its impossible so dont feel bad tons of people have their stuff sratched and their screens even cracked! thats worse so yeh dont worry about it also dont buy plastic cases they scratch ur iphone instead of helping it... so buy silicone cases ...

Oh gee, you scratched it. That's horrible! My iPod has a scratch on it within the first few hours of owning it and I was all like, meh, who cares? Did you expect that it would stay nice and scratched free in general use? It's a thing, you'll get over it.
