| I don't think it's hate- it's frustration and a feeling of betrayal because of his fellow humans. He called it "sympathetic contempt." He DID think up goofy shit for all his shows. The only other comedian who understood this as well as Carlin, Pryor and Paul Mooney was Bil Hicks. May both these critical thinking beacons of our generation (carlin and pryor) rest in peace.
