¿como esta usted? ) is for a formal way, but u can say too ( ¿como estas? ) and this is correct as well...

ñola accepted vos and usted as official ways to conjugate verbs... Just because it's not how it's spoken in Spain, doesn't mean it's not right

Usted is the formal form for YOU. The informal form for YOU in spanish is either Tú or Vos (Tú is used in spain and most of the world, Vos mostly in Argentina, uruguay and Colombia). And of course that in Spain they use USTED too. That's universal in spanish.
In all the spanish speaking countries USTED is formal and TÚ-VOS informal. VOSOTROS is the same as USTEDES, and it means YOU ALL (or You plural). USTEDES is used everywhere and VOSOTROS is used only in spain. We latin americans understand it perfectly, just don't use it. Dispite these difference

and practice everytime you can with somebody who actually speak spanish, in that way he or she will correct you rigth away, if you don't have nobady watch spanish chanels and pay attention.

"VOS"(you) is used in Central America and almost every country in South America,if you speak little spanish,they're going to speak to you using 'TU',if your spanish is good,spect be spoken by "VOS"
