| As long as the doctor is pretty sure that most growth in the jaw is taken care of and for guys it usually takes longer for development in the body, so there could still be growth at 16 years old but for for girls I that I met at the hospital were about 15 or 16 years old. I got about a year or so of x-rays before the process started for me to make sure there was no extra growth in my jaw. If your jaws done growing I would absolutely get it done and you will be pleasd with the result. |

| I had this done last summer. Bad timing but I'm SO glad I had it done. Recovery wasn't too bad. I actually loved the extra attention and being pampered lol |

| dude thanx for posting this. i too have an underbite and im due to have my surgery done on me soon. i haven't had surgery in a LONG while so the experience is kind of new to me, and i was wondering how the operation would be performed and how much change my face will undergo. thanx for giving me that info!! |
