This was originally a Carpenter's song sung by Karen Carpenter. Luther did an excellent cover and like Whitney Houston did with Dolly Partons "And I will always love you", he made this song his own. R.I.P. Luther.

Luther is my favortie singer...Too bad I've never got to see him in concert. I have all his songs. I am only 21 yrs old, which shows he has fans of all ages. These whack lame little artists needs to sit down, and 2009 should be the comeback year for the real soul talented singers.

I had the utmost pleasure of seeing this fabulous maestro back in the day in LA back in the 90's and he was off the chain AMAZING!! OMG! I remember crying during this song! Women AND men were just in awe of the fabulous LV! One of a kind and I am sure plenty of babies were made after this concert! lol! RIP Luther! You are missed!!

I cannot possibly add to the wonderful words that everyone has shared about this man. He is all alone. I saw him in concert in 1986, just him, a mike and an empty round stage. That's all it took, he was incredible. I miss you Luther! There will never be another.
