| sum good applications but i think i'll stick with xing yi. it looks like it would take years to be able to use such complex applications efficiently in a fight whereas xingyi applications are so simple and effective you can fight with it after about a year of training. no offence to bagua practitioners. |

You find a good Yin school and you'll be able to use that shit fast; chances are, they'd teach you Lion (Cheng is equivalent to the Dragon of Yin style, only 1/8 of the system), which is more or less "hitting shit". This isn't to flex my nuts or anything, and you'd have to train like crazy to accomplish something like this - this is just to say that bagua is practical and doesn't take a lot of time - but I know of a Yin style practitioner of five years who beat one of Jet Li's masters |
