I still have the 7'' single on vinyl...lol.
It takes me right back to being a kid and I still listen to this track lots now! I love playing it in my car when people are in it. The circus bit near the end confuses them....lol. LOVE IT!!

I had this on one of those old 'buy on get one free' casettes - like the original versions of the 'now' series. I was about 11 I think and my mum and dad brought me an original 'walkman' - except it wasn't a sony but I cheaper make and was enormous!! my brother brought me the casettes to play on it - the headphones were huge too! Maneater (hall and oats),xtc and bucks fizz were on the same casette - ahh the memories are flooding back!

What year was this ?,I have remembered the lyrics all this time but not the band . It was my first record I bought myself . It didn't last around the house long as mum found it too freaky . The lyrics ring true to this day for me . Sad but comforting .I think I was in the last year of Primary .
