I hate Wal-Mart too. And I don't shop there. With all due respect to the "marketplace" Hint: People who like to "one-stop-shop" Walmart gives them what they want: Cheap prices and many goods in one location. The U.S. is beginnning to turn into a slum because the only place people can afford is Walmart. Plus, alot of people don't have the time to shop at 3 locations for their goods - they're too busy working just to put a few dollars in the pocket to spend back at Walmart. I still hate Walmart!

Companies like this put Mom and Pop's out of business.
Was glad to see the real big box stores had the worst christmas in years.
We were better without them and I knew who my grocer was and the baker and the butcher.
Now the food is coming to us and god only knows what is in it.

I'm not necessarily accusing anyone here of hypocrisy, but if you say all of this and then shop there regularly, you ARE a hypocrit and are only perpetuating this problem. Because the sad truth is that these bastards are only half to blame. The other guilty party is US. WE allow these places to exist. WE demand lower and lower prices, and eventually the only way to meet our demands is to outsource jobs. Part of these companies' actions are greed, but a large part is survival.

If these companies didn't outsource labor, then they wouldn't be able to keep their prices down to the levels that WE demand them to be. And then we bitch when our demands result in us getting fucked in the ass. If you want to change this, then DO SOMETHING! Don't just bitch about it. Refuse to shop there, tell others to do the same, organize boycotts if you have to. Do whatever you can to make their stock prices tank. MAKE THEM LISTEN. Only then can we hope for change.

For the same money people spend to shop at box mart.
They could shop at Whole Foods and buy the organic items for the same price.
This is what I do now.
So people organize and stop shopping at the crap mart.
I only buy from Target,Whole Foods and Mom and Pop shops.
Some of these places are way better then crap mart.

I like Wal-Mart...i mean in Europe shops close at like 6PM. I love the fact that you can go to Wal-Mart at 2AM and buy anything in the world. Gives flexebility!

this is a great vid. it is true i live in houston texas after ike all the small place close and only big stores left and there pay was no were's near want i used to make. now i work 2 jobs and still dont make want i used to at my old job. oo and that becuase i am part time at both. no benfines at all ;[

China has over 1 billion mostly skinny, people. We have a little over 300 million mostly fat, people. Hey they gotta eat too right? Globalization may hurt in some ways but it helps in others. Isn't it better to trade with each other then to be at war killing each other? The Dems are supposed to be for the poor little guy but they're the ones that do the bidding of the Union bosses. If they really cared so much about people, they would care about ALL people. (Including 24 million Iraqis)

Wal Mart people need to unionize and get some clout on management.
The majority of management look at the employees as crap stuck to their shoes.2
So I hope Wal Mart will someday soon learn to give something to the employees.
Then maybe they could be a store that truly cares for it's employee.

In Germany it is actually like that. There was a law forbidding 24/7 shops. And even after that law was abolished the stores still close at ~10pm latest and open at ~7am earliest. On Sunday all shops are closed. It sucks.
