I'll be honest... hmmm no i'll be technical, honest is misleading sometimes. I don't want to afford sbi.. did that make sense? I hope so. I have done all the research: keywords, domain name, hosting options, monetization, and traffic. I hesistate because I don't know how to or um create the website. I think you had a video stating you hd free templates for people like. i'll go look.

I just purchased my domain name from godaddy.
Now i want to know how i can start making web pages and add content onto my site. Do i have to purchase more products to do it.? or do you know of any other way.? If you can help that'll be great.!

Yes now you need to choose one of their web hosting plans. You cannot build your site without a host. Once you've done that you can use software like Kompozer or Dreamweaver to build your pages or you can hand code HTML from scratch

hour 4 and this is not for the faint of heart is it. wow. haha i'm just laughing at my total ignorance. i'm trusting my smartiness will make this FAAAARRRR faster next time. You can go to any host (godaddy, my reseller store websitepalace, etc.) But you cannot create social networking sites in dreamweaver. You would probably need to hire a programmer for that. Those sites are not easy to create. Lots of programming knowledge required.

Not everyone who wants to build a website wants to learn how to code HTML. Some people just want simple, personal websites for their family vacation and may not want to get involved with coding. That's why the builders are such hits with many hosting companies.

but coding offers, so many things that builders cant. it has freedom to do basically anything, you can actually put your ideas on the screen, were as if you use a builder they have borders.

I couldn't agree more and I don't use builders either. I was presenting this as an option for people who want to use them. Many people prefer them in spite of the limitations.

There are free places to go like freewebs but I don't recommend them because you are very limited with design and they look unprofessional.

Yay, use software to create sites!!!! Learn HTML, PHP, MySql, Flash and make your site the way you like it, not just what somekind of site or software allows. So don't listen to her unless you are a total newbie and you don't really need a good site. P.S. don't pay money for domain or hosting, google for free domains.
