Anyone who wishes to read the text of the 13th amendment may Google it and determine for themselves whether it supports the institution of slavery or abolishes it. OMG.. it appears that article 6 has been stolen. Claiming that Lincoln was pro-slavery, as a revisionist history tactic is frankly silly in light of the depth with which his life is documented. Quoting non-existent portions of law and then attributing then to Lincoln is also a bit weak, especially after his history in Illinois. Perhaps though you would like also to blame Lincoln for Mississipi waiting till 1995 to ratify that amendment?
