Why do so many people think that heavy metal rockers don't believe in a Higher Power and/or worship the devil? So what if Jon's a rocker - he's obviously a "believer." Just like Zakk Wylde gives God the glory for his amazing talent. Whatever your interests in life, you can still be spiritual/religious. Jon proves this point beautifully. If you knew anything about Metal, then you would know most artist DON'T believe in a god. Criss was awesome, and his beliefs were HIS, but Zakk just sucks! Religion sucks! It's complete bullshit. So Criss got his talent from god? Then according to your brilliant theory all the children who have cancer and other diseases got it from god? How stupid! It's genes, hard work and passion that create talent, not your imaginary savior. Religion needs to be destroyed or it will destroy us.

couldnt have said it better myself. yep I dont believe in religion and find that most of my musician friends dont either. Just yesterday I had an arguement in an AA meeting where a lady was telling me I have to accept god. I was like hell no, higher power means something completely different to me, and I sure as hell aint gonna buy some crap some dude wrote in a book thousands of yrs ago. i went to catholic school for 12 yrs and religious people love to hide behind their savior

if there is a god why are so many people just suffering, if there is a hell then its on this earth, we are already enslaved. think about it, everyones working everyday to make ends meet, working so much they cant enjoy their lives. We have to do it coz the other option is starvation and death. This is hell, thats why I aint fucking scared about the afterlife, worrying if "god" will wash away my sins, haha had to commit some of them sins to get by in life.

I'm not here to preach, but let's just enjoy the music and not trash other people, yes? And if you knew anything about metal, you'd know that some groups do believe in a God. Black Sabbath and Judas Priest are the most amusing I think. And yes, some are atheist or satanic, probably proportionate to the normal population. Imagine that. Rock on, and don't be a dick!
