I've always been impressed with the fact that you do take the time to reply to people. Even if it's just with one word, you're saying "yes I've read your comment and thanks for stopping by" - which makes you feel it was worthwhile making the comment. And for the bigwig channels even if they just make the odd comment every so often "thanks everyone for all your comments etc etc" - it would at least show that they are engaged with their viewers and are reading the comments

That's given me an idea - I could take up employment as a professional "comment replier" for one of the bigwig channels who are too busy to do it themselves. I'll ask sxephil if he's got any vacancies - which it's obvious he has!!

That's a very good point, and I've seen it myself. Ordinary folks like us - no replies. NOTHING. But if a YT "celeb" comments.... they fall over themselves to reply. Doesn't exactly make you feel welcome!

You are a nice person The way I look at commenting is - I never give to recieve, never expect an answer So I'm always happy enough whatever Then if I DO GET a response, it's A BONUS! There is one comedian/actor whom I've often commented on and NEVER heard from once. But I still like his work and keep comenting on it now + then To make a comment is an individual choice, just as it is to comment back or not. If theres pressure to do it - the fun goes out of it Please dont take things to heart

I work with all my might to answer all comments. Yet, I get further and further behind. I don't have many subscribers, but when I go out of town for a few days, I never see daylight again. I make a serious effort, even to having not been able to write for the past couple of months.
I don't know how you can do it, but it is really nice that you do. Easy

hey iseehaters, I am now going one step further. At least when I have the time, when someone comments, I try to got to their channel, watch one of their videos and make a (positive) comment. Or I comment on their home page. Peace!!!!
