how dumb is that." What is a gun used for? When will a Police Officer pull a firearm? A taser is a non-lethal, sometimes termed less-than-lethal, means of forcing compliance on a combative &/or noncompliant individual. The fact is the taser was applied in, I think they call it, drive-stun mode. Think of a stungun & you'll have a better idea of what happened. I've yet to hear of ANYONE dying from a 3 second stungun zap.

Guy gets kicked out but refuses to go. They agree to let him ask 1 question then leave. He talks for over 3 times as long as everyone else was allowed to without letting Kerry respond. Mic is cut, & after 60 seconds of trying to get him to walk out he is arrested. Then, after another minute of telling him he'll be tased if he doesn't put his arm behind his back (all the while physically resisting & screaming to a sizable crowd for help) they stun his shoulder for 3 seconds while cuffing him.

What a complete violation of our most precious right. This is a prime example of authority figures reminding you that they can fuck with you whenever they want. Everyone is saying "oh, well he committed disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest, etc." Fine, but these were all citations that were spurred from the first police action that violated the student's right to speech. Had the police not tried to shush him up in the first place, he'd have done nothing wrong "on paper."
